WinChallenge Legacy does not collect detailed match statistics beyond what a challenge requires, does not read chat or voice data, and does not access data unrelated to match outcomes or confirmed ranks.
Match and rank data is obtained either through official game APIs where available, or through an optional Windows companion app that reads publicly exposed in-game events while a supported game is running in the foreground.
This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA). The domain is registered through DomainFactory GmbH (Germany). Visiting this site causes your browser to connect to these providers' servers, which may process your IP address as part of normal web hosting operation.
This page loads the fonts "Space Grotesk" and "Inter" from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited), which involves your browser connecting directly to Google's servers and transmitting your IP address. This happens automatically when the page loads, based on our legitimate interest in consistent typography (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We plan to switch to self-hosted fonts before public launch to avoid this external connection entirely.
We do not sell personal data. Data is used only to operate WinChallenge Legacy's core features (challenges, ranks, leaderboards) and is only shared with service providers necessary to run the app (e.g. hosting, as listed above), not with advertisers or other third parties.
Account and challenge data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete associated personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it for longer (e.g. billing records, if applicable).
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in section 1.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For Germany, the competent authority for Hesse is Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
